Hoe ziet de toekomst van de wetenschap eruit in de ogen van de onderzoekers van morgen?
Op donderdagmiddag 9 april (14-18 uur) nodigt de KHMW u uit voor een interactieve workshop: ‘Researcher of the Future’.
Wat brengt deze middag:
- Wereldwijde inzichten: Presentatie van de Elsevier ‘Researcher of the Future’ enquête onder meer dan 3.000 onderzoekers wereldwijd.
- Impact & Outreach: Een keynote door Sicco de Knecht, directeur van NEWS (Nationaal Expertisecentrum Wetenschap & Samenleving).
- Dialoog: Gezamenlijke break-out sessies waarin promovendi en postdocs hun visie delen op het veranderende academische landschap.
Om die dialoog tot stand te brengen worden wetenschappelijke leden uitgenodigd om deel te nemen op voorwaarde dat zij vergezeld gaan van een promovendus (AIO) of postdoc.
De bijeenkomst (voertaal Engels) vindt plaats in het Hodshonhuis te Haarlem. De capaciteit is beperkt tot 40 deelnemers (20 koppels).
What does the future of science look like through the eyes of tomorrow’s researchers?
On the afternoon of Thursday, April 9, 2-6 pm, the KHMW (Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities) invites you to an interactive workshop: ‘Researcher of the Future’.
What to expect:
- Global Insights: A presentation of the Elsevier ‘Researcher of the Future’ survey, featuring findings from over 3,000 researchers worldwide.
- Impact & Outreach: A keynote by Sicco de Knecht, Director of NEWS (National Centre of Expertise on Science & Society).
- Dialogue: Collaborative break-out sessions where PhD candidates and postdocs share their perspectives on the evolving academic landscape.
To facilitate this dialogue, scientific members are invited to participate on the condition that they are accompanied by a PhD candidate or postdoc.
The meeting will be held in English at the Hodshon House in Haarlem. Capacity is limited to 40 participants (20 pairs).
